American Corgis
American Corgis are a new, pioneer, breed within the United States. This is a cross of the two corgi breeds, Pembroke & Cardigan corgis. This is an attempt to combine the "best" characteristics of each breed into one. This is not yet an AKC-recognized breed, but it is currently in the works! This is a very open, friendly breed with a thick, hearty structure, bright eyes, and charming personality!

There’s something incredibly special about watching a puppy leave your arms and grow into a beloved member of someone else's family.
This sweet boy is settling beautifully into his new home, racing through the yard, exploring every corner, and making memories one adventure at a time. His family asked him to bring back sticks, and true to his Corgi nature, he figured out the game almost immediately. Smart, eager, and full of personality, he's proving every day why these dogs capture hearts so easily.

They range from 10.5-12" in height and 20-30# in weight!
No! There are many misconceptions about dogs being more or less healthy by being mixed- however- this does not directly mean they will be! Many factors play into ethically and successfully breeding in the first place. This is no difference here! Gentic, temperament, and structural quality are all involved in the trinity of breeding not only our purebred preservation breeds, but our mixes as well!
While a Corgi is not a high maintenance dog as far as grooming goes, they do have a double coat with a harsh outer coat and a thick, dense undercoat and THEY DO SHED! The Corgi doesn’t require a lot of grooming other than the occasional bath and the routine grooming described above.
